The research “Travel Behavior of Chinese Tourists Visiting the Similan Islands National Park” was aimed at exploring demographics, travel patterns and behavior of Chinese tourists who visited the Similan Islands National Park, as well as their post-visit opinions on the tourist attractions on the islands. Mixed methods, including quantitative and qualitative research approaches, were employed for the research. Quantitative research methods were applied to study the demographic characteristics and travel behavior of Chinese tourists, in order to describe trends in their travel behavior.
